After the morning ATV tour, we continued with a camel tour in the afternoon. The places you visit are different, and camels are more calm than ATVs. Each has its own merits. I was a little confused when I got on the train, but it was no problem at all. The mouth is held down with a proper device and the guide holds the camel at all times.

I went up without help: there is really nothing to fear. Camels generally don't move unless you ask them to and, since we always proceed with guides, there are no problems.

At first I was a bit hesitant about riding a camel, but it turned into enormous fun. The camels are very gentle and the staff keep them under control the whole time. It was a really enjoyable tour — you do sit up quite high, so don't wear heels.
